Raman Boparai is Director of DNS Accountants Barking. Like many women, Raman juggles a busy working life with family responsibilities and her cherished role as a mother.

The DNS Accountants Franchise model, she says, fits this life model perfectly, enabling her to tailor her hours around her children and meet her client’s expectations, network and grow her business – and ultimately, she hopes, perhaps, one day, to have her children working alongside her in a successful and profitable business.

Graduating from Imperial College London with a BSc in Applied Business Management in 2005, she is a qualified accountant with 12 years’ experience across various industries, including in the arts and housing sector, of which ten of these years have been spent in senior management positions. Raman’s experience covers: preparation and submission of statutory accounts and formation of management reports for board members, and a flare for financial modelling on Excel.

Learning new skills, making new connections, and playing a part in the evolution of seamless digital accounting and compliance services to manage, serve, and inspire small business and contractors is what initially attracted Raman to the DNS Accountants Franchise. She now seeks to further streamline processes in her business and work to align it with the dynamic nature of industry. There has never been a better time to have such an ambition!

Of herself, she says: “I have a resilience and am highly motivated to achieve goals. I go about my work with a spiritual flare, but I also enjoy the cut-and-thrust of business and enjoy expanding my knowledge of technology. I nurture my proactive soul, feed my self-learning energy, and exploit my ability to form functional relationships.”
