Power couple Daniel and Jenna Doherty have welcomed a new and first-ever Ripples Franchise to the North of England – And it has already been nominated for an award! 

Starting his career at the age of 16, working for his family's home improvement retailer, Daniel Doherty developed years of industry experience which has served him well in the world of Ripples. The plan originally set out by the couple, saw it being solely run by Daniel, however, a change of heart saw Jenna joining the partnership and has since been a decision both have agreed has succeeded their expectations.

Finding the right property

Fate played a hand in finding and securing their location. Whilst stuck at traffic lights, they both noticed a ‘to let’ sign and knew in that instance that space was meant for them. Still waiting for the traffic lights to change, they were able to call the landlord and arrange a viewing for the next day. In the space of a couple of months, Daniel and Jenna were quick to get the ball rolling, gaining ownership of the keys and starting the refurb of their very own bathroom showroom franchise.

Initial training

Although Daniel and Jenna already possessed many important traits when it came to sales and the homeware industry, they were both able to make the most out of the Ripples training, developing their product knowledge and a further understanding of the industry. From greeting the customer straight through to delivery, Daniel and Jenna were shown how to ‘ripplefy’ their approach and assure a high-quality service.

Although the turnaround was quick, the result was nothing less than a polished and inspirational showroom. A seamless walk through the shop offers a tour of beautiful designs paired with fully committed designers ready to create bespoke bathrooms.
